Introducing a revolutionary warm edge spacer bar - Royalinex™.

Based on over a decade of research and development, RoyalinexÔ is one of the most efficient warm edge spacer technology available today, with thermal conductivity typically 25 times lower than aluminum. It is made from a proprietary Royal second generation thermoplastic engineered resin, which gives it an extremely low coefficient of thermal expansion as well as outstanding chemical compatibility for use with high performance glass.

Royalinex™ can be fabricated and installed using conventional equipment and methods make the switch to Royalinex™ as friendly to fabricators as it will be to homeowners. 

The polymer blend used to make RoyalinexÔ has been well tested, with tests showing good adhesion to most commercial sealants.  It is available in black, white or gray, to complement the architectural designs of a wide variety of window systems.

Insulation

The Royalinex™ spacer has a lower effective thermal conductivity rate - typically 25 times better - than a conventional aluminum spacer and thus provides greater energy savings for the homeowner.

Compatibility

The chemical formulation of the Royalinex™ spacer provides a good bond to most common IG sealants through “optimized” properties such as chemical compatibility, adhesion, mechanical expansion rate and structural rigidity (when compared to flexible air spacer systems).

Condensation

The Royalinex™ spacer reduces most condensation problems associated with conventional metal spacers. Condensation can lead to quicker unit degradation and ultimately, sealed unit failure

Design

The Royalinex™ spacer design is pure and aesthetically pleasing. All models /dimensions are available in white, grey or black formulations.

When used with most sealants, the unique profile of the Royalinex™ spacer mechanically locks the cured secondary seal in place.
